mattyd81 Posted October 8, 2006 Posted October 8, 2006 Ive just loaded OSCommerce via my ftp admin area and when i go to either the shop or admin url i get this message: Server Requirement Error: register_globals is disabled in your PHP configuration. This can be enabled in your php.ini configuration file or in the .htaccess file in your catalog directory. How do I fix this so that I can view both and get my shop running? Many thanks peeps

Many thanks peeps You'll need to ask your host to enable register_globals. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- NOTE: As of Oct 2006, I'm not as active in this forum as I used to be, but I still work with osC quite a bit. Jack_mcs Posted October 8, 2006 Posted October 8, 2006 More and more hosts are turning register globals off due to increased hacker activity so it is unlikely that your host will change that setting. You can either install the Register Globals contribution or add a php.ini file to your site and set the option yourself.
