HTTP ERROR 500

I get the following message when i try to execute the installationprocedure of OsCommerce.

THE PAGE CANNOT BE DISPLAYED

How can i proceed past this error to install OsCommerce. My server is a Windows 2003-server with PHP 4.4.

trying asking your host what to do or get them to install for you if they wont then id suggest changing host
