Can somebody please tell me how to get header navigation looking like this:

Well, first you need it to be designed. Either design one yourself, purchase one, or hire a designer to make one for you.

 

Then you integrate in into the header.php. In the example you provide, the header is flash. There's a contribution in the contributions section that will allow you to use flash in your header without losing the sessions. You'll need to use that contribution if you want flash in your header.
