Dynamic Menu no javascript

I use/used the Dynamenu and CSS-Menu contributions to display subcategories as flyouts without reloading the page. With NoScript installed in Firefox they loose the functionality.

 

I found a html/css solution at http://www.seoconsultants.com/css/menus/tutorial/ which works without javascript but am unable to implement it due to my lack of experience.

 

Has anybody used this successfully in OSC or even better is there a contrib on this basis available?
