Add products from outside source to oscommerce cart??

Is there a way to add products (in our case the customer queries a webservice to return a list of results) from an outside source into the oscommerce shopping cart? We actually have the CREloaded.

 

Is there an add-on or a simple solution?

 

Any help will be greatly appreciated!!!
