How do you change the http to https after install?

When you are in the main page of the cart, and you click on "my account" at the top right, I believe you can set this up to go through the secure connection https:

 

Right now, mine was set up with the normal http: and I now have a secure certificate and would like to change it to the https:

 

How do I do this?

There are entries in catalog/includes/configure.php and admin/includes/configure.php

that deal with HTTPS_SERVER (compared to HTTP_SERVER) and others items, and I posted

a question (see http://www.oscommerce.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=230382)

listing a checklist of items to switch to SSL. But no expert reponse yet if the checklist

I posted is missing any steps.
