Mod_rewrite rules

Hopefully someone can offer some assistance.

I am trying to add new content to my site and it is not working.

 

I had someone add some OSC patches a few weeks ago and now when I add content, I get this:

There should be an article here on male libido.

 

I have been told that "It seems that there are not any mod-rewrite rules to have it work in the way you are showing. You will need to have the mod-rewrite rules written for apache to pull the page based on the address" by my host.

 

Can someone point me in the right direction as to how I can fix this so I can continue to add articles/content to my site?
