nromain Posted October 6, 2006 Posted October 6, 2006 Hi Guys: My only and humble tip is this: Study how the large corporations in America disrespect consumers and turn that to your advantage to become a super-efficient web-based operation. Think about things like: - Be reactive and responsive: Time is money and a lean and efficient web-based commerce solution beats any large, slow-moving, corporate culture. - Treat your customers the way you want to be treated: This means tact and professionalism (whether it's product knowledge, keep your promises, communicate, etc) - Show your customers why they benefit by buying from an online store versus a lousy operation like Circuit City or others. These stores could not care less about consumers. I had the most aweful experience there. They've wasted 5 hours of my time. I will never buy from C/C ever again or any other similar stores. I will buy everything online from now on. Once people wake up, they will go out of business. Efficient web-based businesses will beat the cr.. out of these soon-to-be dinosaurs if people stop putting up with their lousy service and incompetent staff. Nick G. Romain
