[path to catalog]/includes/languages/english/index.php That file can be edited manually, or via the Administration Tool with the Languages->English->Define or Tools->File Manager modules. The text is set in the following manner: define('TEXT_MAIN', 'This is a default setup of the osCommerce project...'); Angela, Download the file indicated above from your web server. Where you see the text "this is the default setup etc etc..", replace that with any text you like. Be sure to keep the single quotes that are already there. Upload new file overwriting the old one. BE SURE TO BACKUP first. The boxes in your left and right columns are controlled by includes/column_left and includes/column_right You can change the order in which they appear or even comment them out so they do not show at all.
