2bikeactive Posted October 9, 2006 Author Posted October 9, 2006 Hi there, Really still need help with this one please. Can I use OSCommerce with I web? Cheers
always_confused Posted March 20, 2008 Posted March 20, 2008 seems this never got answered but I too am wondering this, as I have been told to use iweb to edit my files, but I can't for the life of me work out how. So if iweb does not do it, or if I should avoid iweb at all costs, then please, please, please let me know what program I should use to edit the files and where I can get it from.
Iggy Posted March 20, 2008 Posted March 20, 2008 seems this never got answered but I too am wondering this, as I have been told to use iweb to edit my files, but I can't for the life of me work out how. So if iweb does not do it, or if I should avoid iweb at all costs, then please, please, please let me know what program I should use to edit the files and where I can get it from. From wikipedia: iWeb lacks the ability to edit direct HTML code, though it is possible to use HTML snippets, which allow tiny bits of HTML code to be added to an iWeb page, such as an embedded YouTube video. That probably means yes, don't use it. Of course the simplest way to answer your question is to try it out and report back whether your files would open, got mangled, changed irrevocably or if iWeb killed your dog accidentally and didn't apologize. For me, on a Mac, I use BBedit or emacs http://www.barebones.com/products/bbedit/ BBedit's probably the better choice in the long run unless you really like the command line; in which case you might give VI a shot :) Oh, and don't forget that the web is your friend and Google is your new BFF. http://www.google.com/search?client=safari...-8&oe=UTF-8 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_HTML_editors Iggy Everything's funny but nothing's a joke...
always_confused Posted March 20, 2008 Posted March 20, 2008 thanks for the reply. I was trying to look up on google, but google was just not being my friend today, normally I can find what I need to know, but today, just one of those days I guess. Maybe I should have asked if there are any free ones out there that I can use?
always_confused Posted March 20, 2008 Posted March 20, 2008 maybe I should click on all clicks before replying  . Sorry, and thank you. I will have a good look now
