Help, please! Top menu NEARLY working!

Hi all,

 

I want to have a horizontal top menu on my shopping site, and have managed to insert a single row table in the right position, which seems to work.

I inserted this table on all 38 of the necessary catalogue pages, and they work fine.

The problem is, when I click on any of the categories or subcategories, the menu isn't there.

 

How many other pages does it need to be put on, and is there an easy way of positioning it?

I have tried editing includes/boxes/categories.php, but cannot get the table to position properly.

 

Is there an easier way to insert a top menu?

Should I be putting it in the header?

The header would definatly be the best place as it would then show up on all pages that called for the header

this will help give it a drop down menu.
