ouke Posted October 5, 2006 Posted October 5, 2006 Hi, I want to use table wieght for shipping but there is no module weight unit at the bottom to edit or change to pounds. Also I have filled in the weights with the prices I want to charge for instance I charged 5.50 for up to 2 lbs. but it is charging 8.50 for up to 2 lbs. any ideas? thanks
ashlyn Posted October 5, 2006 Posted October 5, 2006 It's not specifically any actual weight type. You can use anything you like and it should still be the same. Pounds, kilos, giggles, anything. If you have a book, and it weighs 3 pounds, you could enter the weight something like 3.0 (3 1/2 pounds would be 3.5 etc) If you were using kilos, the same book would weigh around 6 kilos, so would be entered as 6.0 (in your product description, not shipping tables) Then in your shipping table, you would put something like 5:10.00,10:15.00,20:30.00 So anything weighing up to 5 units (in your case it's pounds) would charge $10.00 shipping. Between 5 and 10 units, it charges $15.00 etc. Does that make sense? ------------------------------------------------------- I used to be insane, but now I'm just nuts ;)
