Removing "Click to Enlarge" and Reorganizing Product Listing

First question: Is there an easy way (like fixing one or two phps) to remove the "Click to Enlarge" text below the thumbnail images on the product's page and prevent the pop-up? I only want the image as a 100x100 thumbnail with no enlarging pop-up. I have plenty of pictures on my product pages, and I don't like the pixely look of an automatically resized thumbnail, hence, I don't use it.

 

Second question: Is there an easy way (can you tell I'm lazy?) to have my products listed in two or three columns instead of in one straight line down?

 

Before you answer... I have very limited html/php skills and am using Dreamweaver MX 2004 to create my product pages.
