I am able access the admin page without any login. Is it like that? how to setup a user name password for that?

That is probably the first modification that should ever be made to your site. You can add an .htaccess file or one of the password protection contributions. You should also rename the admin directory and be sure to change that name in the configuration file. It only take a few minutes to make these changes but will save you countless hours and maybe even dollars by making these simple changes.
