Installation Problem

Hi to all,

This is my first post. I am new to php and oscommerce.

I am trying to install this package (osCommerce 2.2 Milestone 2 Update 060817 America) on my computer (localhost).

I am getting this all the time :

The configuration was successful!

 

 

After clicking on Administration tool

I got this :

 

Warning: mysql_connect() [function.mysql-connect]: Access denied for user 'mysql'@'localhost' (using password: NO) in c:\inetpub\wwwroot\catalog\admin\includes\functions\database.php on line 19

Unable to connect to database server!

 

 

Please help me

check the root directory properties although seems strange you cant read write more understandable basicaly you will want read/write access on configure to start with then read after.

c:/inetpub/wwwroot/catalog/includes/configure.php

set permission so that it is writable.
