I have uploaded this original source code file

catalog/admin/includes/configure.php

 

and now get this error message and have no idea what incorrect

 

 

Warning: mysql_connect(): Can't connect to MySQL server on 'localhost' (10061) in e:\domains\m\mastexplorer.co.za\user\htdocs\catalog\admin\includes\functions\database.php on line 19

Unable to connect to database server!

somehow your database section part has changed re-check it, or do you mean you uploaded unchanged config file, you dint run install on your server to configure files?

I edited the file from

 

define('DIR_FS_BACKUP', DIR_FS_ADMIN . 'backups/');

to

define('DIR_FS_BACKUP', DIR_FS_ADMIN . '/backups/');

 

and now the entire site crached dead.....this is the only thing that has been done on the site

since you got it going yesterday.

 

I think once this is done i will delete the code i have on my Pc and download the working code on the server

I have a feeling that the code on my Pc is corrupt some how
