JamesS Posted October 4, 2006 Posted October 4, 2006 I am trying to add new products in the module, however it is not letting me upload the photos to folders I have designated for them. It only uploads them to the images folder. I do not want hundreds of images in the images folder, that would be unorganized. How do I choose the folder?
steve_s Posted October 4, 2006 Posted October 4, 2006 did you configure that new folder in your configure files?

It only uploads them to the images folder. I do not want hundreds of images in the images folder, that would be unorganized. How do I choose the folder? SO I am going to add onto my own post to make it a little clearer... ( I am new to the posting world) When you look at the osC Knowledge base /Products/ - http://www.oscommerce.info/kb/osCommerce/A...ool/Catalog/147 in the IMAGES section it shows that you can choose which folder to upload the images into. ( I think the screenshot is from a newer version of osC than mine, cause my /admin/ does not look like that) so here is my issue. In my /admin/catalog/categories -newproducts/ it does not provide the option to choose a designated folder for the product image, and everytime a create a "New Product" the images are uploded to the /images/ folder only. I have already ftp.'d my new images to the /images/mypictures/ folder, so they are already available, but I am stuck there... Any Ideas...??? Are there any contributions that allow this...? I have spent way more hours that I care to admit trying to remedy this doing 'stare and compares' and random experiments/tests.
JamesS Posted October 4, 2006 Author Posted October 4, 2006 did you configure that new folder in your configure files? No I did not.. Would that be in catalog/includes/configure.php? And do I add a line or change one...?
