smash123 Posted October 3, 2006 Posted October 3, 2006 I'm running OSC. I check on the Cpanel error log it said: File does not exist: /home/heliiizs/public_html/favicon.ico File does not exist: /home/heliiizs/public_html/images/nohotlink.jpe I have search my web and couldn't find any to code calling those files. Can anybody tell me how can I stop this error showing in the error log? Should I just find those pics and put it in the images folder to stop the error showing? thanks
digbydo Posted October 3, 2006 Posted October 3, 2006 favicon.ico is like robots.txt, a file you don't need but looked for by spiders. Google for more info - nothing to do with OSC. nohotlink.jpe ? a typo or should be jpG one-click installation.. Dave's info

It's just a way of making your site recognisable from others. Look up in your URL bar to see the oscommerce favicon. Try this site to make your own, then upload it straight to your main folder. http://tools.dynamicdrive.com/favicon/ I'm also thinking nohotlink.jpe should probably be nothotlink.jpg in your images folder ------------------------------------------------------- I used to be insane, but now I'm just nuts ;)
smash123 Posted October 3, 2006 Author Posted October 3, 2006 Thank you everyone! I have so many files for my site. I need to find which file is calling nohotlink.jpe so that I can change it to the correct name jpg. Is there any free software that search all my php files to find the code calling nohotlink.jpe. thanks
