Error validating authorize.net

I am trying to use authorize.net as my gateway for the credit card process. When the transaction is processed, I receive a message back from authorize.net in a pink line with the following message: @The first four digits of the number entered are: <br>If that number is correct, we do not accept that type of credit card.<br>If it is wrong, please try again. "

I believe it has something to do with the code but I cannot find out where the problem is. Can someone help? Thanks

I have the same issue. So far I have failed on Authorize.Net and Bluepay installatino and am getting the feeling the OS commerce is not such an easy product to use. Modules don't seem to work when it comes to payment gateways. All other shopping carts I have used seem to work the first time I install a gateway.

Maria, what are your settings on the module? Copy them here (asterix the login and transaction key)
