Echoing text in product description

I'm currently expanding my store (currently it holds about 160 products). I'd really like to be able to echo blocks of text, so I don't have to put it in every description individually. More importantly, I just discovered a small typo in my guarentee, so now I have to change it in 160 places. It'd be nice if I could just change it in one.

 

I've tried defining text blocks and then echoing them, but it never seems to work. Where (and how) would I have to define a block of text so I could just insert it in a product description page?

Anyone have any ideas?

 

I just want to define a string of text in one file, and then echo it in all my products... I've tried the define and echo commands but I can't seem to get them working. Everything just comes up blank.
