visi Posted October 2, 2006 Posted October 2, 2006 If a customer uses the "password forgotten" option, the email with the password is never sent. It appears to be sent, as there is no error message or anything, but no one ever receives these emails. Is this a problem with the OsCommerce setup? Do I need to have the email coming from the same domain name as the web site? I know this can be anti-spam measure depending on the host. Thank you.

I have changed the email address for the store owner and the from settings to match the domain name. None of the emails are received. OsCommerce seems to think they are going (ie "success"), but they are never received. I tried just emailing a customer (me) and I do not get the email.
