OSCommece not writing URL's with for https right?

Whenever a user trys to go toe a https (secure) page, there is a window in IE that pops up saying "this page contains both secure, and non secure items. Do you wish to view the non secure items?"

If you click yes, the page loads, and the URL in the browser is https, but all the links OSC is writing the source code are just plain http. What do I need to do to fix this? I am afriad that it could scare customers off.

Thanks!

that message says that you have hardcoded http items in your pages instead of using relative paths or https. this may be in your header, footer or anywhere else ... banner tools are often the culprits. You need to debug and repair as in fact this scares buyers 100% off.

For some reason it is writing http in the left and right column, when it should be https. The center column, and header do write https. I have check all my templates, and am convinced it is a php issue. Where is this https decision made in the OSC fode for columns?

Branden, normally columns are included with relative paths. There is no way of knowing for templates though.
