The e-commerce.

Do discount for customer who enterd a specific keyword

Recommended Posts

Please let me know if anyone knows how to do following thing.

I sell jewely online, and my jewelry is going to be on some magazine next month, that magazine usually list designer's web site like the following to do 25% off sale.

For example:

--Visit www.xxxxxxxx.com(my web site) and enter "keyword(magazine name)" at checkout to save 25% on

this item.--

That means if someone enter that keyword at check out, that

specific item reacts for 25% discount and people 'automatically' pay 25%

less at check out to buy that specific item.

Do you think it is possible to do this kind of set up with the OS commerce shopping cart?

I know how to do a general sale, which is NOT just for special customer who

enter keywords to get discount. But that magazine company don't want that way. They want to do a special sale just for the people who saw that magazine.

Please let me know if someone can explaing how to make it.

Thank you
