Hello All,

 

Currently when I go to checkout my items do not have the standart format of:

 

Sub Total:

VAT:

Total:

 

This seems to be missing from the page, the items are just shown seperately and no total.

 

I have seen sites with all this in the right colum of the billing section.

 

Have downloaded contribution: Taxbox1

 

but step three is a bit confusing:-

 

3. open column_left.php or column_right_php inside /catalog/includes/

add:

require(DIR_WS_BOXES . 'taxbox.php');

 

Example

 

require(DIR_WS_BOXES . 'taxbox.php');

 

You would add the code above in the place you would like the taxbox to appear

Still hunting down any leads on the forums.....starting to get desperate.

 

 

Been looking at the checkout_confirmation.php and there must be something missing in this.

 

Can any one paste thier scripting in here from their checkout_confirmation.php if you have all the VAT, and total colums in the page.

The standard install works just fine so I assume it's the contribution you added in.... did it work before that?

 

Also I presume you've set up the tax zones / rates in admin?

Hello Dave,

 

The Total has never worked, this is why i have been hunting for a contribution.

 

I have set up:

 

Countries

Zones

Tax Zones

Tax Classes

Tax Rates

 

and it does get added into the paypal checkout.

and when you add a product you fill in the Tax Class box ?

 

Yep I have added the "Taxable Goods" in the pull down menu.

Have had a good scan through through your script and even tried using it, but unfortunatley the:

VAT:

Total:

 

 

Still does not show up, this is a strange one, so close but so far away.

 

Some thing is missing somewhere.....I'll continue on.

Did you setup all the right Locations and Taxes..

 

Most of the times it's becoz the setup is not right.. Play with that for a few minutes.. I think that should do the trick

Managed to get it sorted, thanks to the main man.

 

Just on my last hurdle, transfering from catalog to the root.....to go live.

 

Proving a bit differcult not sure what to change in the config files.
