Products "Result Pages" Problem

Hi, I have a problem with my result pages where the page shows X number of results per page depending on what you specify in your configuration. I have a category in my store that currently has 37 items, and originally I had my store set to display 20 results per page. But when I click on the "Next Page" at the bottom of the page next to "Displaying X out of X products", nothing happens. It just reloads the first page again. So for now I have my configuration set to show 200 products per page so that my customers will be able to see all the items under the category, but I'd rather not have to do this because people with slow connections and load time mght get frustrated and leave because it takes to long to load all the items in that category.

 

Does anyone know how I might fix this? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
