I don't get it. All of a sudden, my site no longer works. All pictures are disappearing, and I think it's because when I look at the image properties, the URL is pointing to an HTTPS site, which is secured.

However, I have never installed SSL, and only now in the admin am seeing this msg:

You are protected by a unknown secure SSL connection

How do I turn this off?

I have the same problem, I checked my admin/includes/configure.php file.

define('ENABLE_SSL_CATALOG', 'false');

Even when set to false, my admin section displays 'You are protected by a unknown secure SSL connection'.

Please help guys.

Did you change the urls in that file to not use https?

Ya I did...still doesn't work.

It's the IMAGES that seem to be getting referred to an https locale, not the files or the content

Maybe you have absolute urls. If it is using normal oscommerce code and the configure file is setup corectly, it can't call https since there is nowhere for the code to get that from other than the configure file. try searching all of the files in admin for https.
