Sanguinarius Posted September 30, 2006 Posted September 30, 2006 I added the Show Orders on Desktop contribution ( http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contri...ders+on+desktop ) and followed the directions on how to add it to my Windows Desktop. When I click synchronize, it shows the update succeeded (as opposed to when I have incorrect username or password and it fails). But on my desktop, there is only a white window which turns grey when I mouse over it. In case it's helpful to someone, when I right clicked on it and viewed source, it showed: <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> <HTML><HEAD><TITLE>Windows98</TITLE><BASE href=c:\windows\Web\Wallpaper\Windows98.htm> <META http-equiv=Content-Type content="text/html; charset=windows-1252"> <META content="Microsoft Word 97" name=Generator></HEAD> <BODY text=#000000 vLink=#800080 link=#0000ff bgColor=#000080 scroll=no bottom-margin="0" right-margin="0" top-margin="0" left-margin="0"> <P align=right><A href="http://www.microsoft.com/isapi/redir.dll?prd=windows98&clcid=&pver=4.10&ar=wallpaper"><IMG height=47 src="res://membg.dll/membg.gif" width=329 border=0></A> </P><IFRAME id=0 style="Z-INDEX: 1073741823; BACKGROUND: none transparent scroll repeat 0% 0%; LEFT: 711px; WIDTH: 218px; POSITION: absolute; TOP: 325px; HEIGHT: 192px" name=DeskMovrW marginWidth=0 marginHeight=0 src="http://www.sanguinarius.org/store/admin/deskindex.php" frameBorder=0 subscribed_url="http://www.sanguinarius.org/store/admin/deskindex.php" resizeable="XY"> </IFRAME> <OBJECT id=ActiveDesktopMover style="LEFT: 0px; VISIBILITY: hidden; WIDTH: 1px; POSITION: absolute; TOP: 0px; HEIGHT: 1px; container: positioned; zIndex: 5" classid=clsid:72267F6A-A6F9-11D0-BC94-00C04FB67863></OBJECT> <OBJECT id=ActiveDesktopMoverW style="Z-INDEX: 1073741822; LEFT: 708px; VISIBILITY: hidden; WIDTH: 224px; POSITION: absolute; TOP: 322px; HEIGHT: 198px; container: positioned" classid=clsid:72267F6A-A6F9-11D0-BC94-00C04FB67863></OBJECT></BODY></HTML> I know the function itself works because I added a non-password-protected page and was able to view and update it. I also am able to successfully view the deskindex.php page in a browser (after submitting the .htaccess username/pw). Can anybody help me? Sandbag Posted December 10, 2006 Posted December 10, 2006 I see you haven't had an answer in quite a while. I don't know much about this version, but I have written my own application to do the same thing and monitor orders on the desktop. Its called oscWatcher and has quite a few features. In the new year I will try and get it listed as an official contribution but for now you can see screenshots and download it here. Quote Leapfrog - Dynamic Visitor Tracking
