The e-commerce.

I added the Show Orders on Desktop contribution ( http://www.oscommerce.com/community/contri...ders+on+desktop ) and followed the directions on how to add it to my Windows Desktop. When I click synchronize, it shows the update succeeded (as opposed to when I have incorrect username or password and it fails). But on my desktop, there is only a white window which turns grey when I mouse over it.

In case it's helpful to someone, when I right clicked on it and viewed source, it showed:

<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN">
<HTML><HEAD><TITLE>Windows98</TITLE><BASE

classid=clsid:72267F6A-A6F9-11D0-BC94-00C04FB67863></OBJECT></BODY></HTML>

I know the function itself works because I added a non-password-protected page and was able to view and update it. I also am able to successfully view the deskindex.php page in a browser (after submitting the .htaccess username/pw).

Can anybody help me?

If you're reading this, I'm probably pulling my hair out. ;>

I see you haven't had an answer in quite a while. I don't know much about this version, but I have written my own application to do the same thing and monitor orders on the desktop. Its called oscWatcher and has quite a few features.

In the new year I will try and get it listed as an official contribution but for now you can see screenshots and download it here.
