osCommerce wrong from/reply address

Hello everyone,

We setup osCommerce on a linux server that hosts multiple domains...

Email works great except the from and/or reply to address are not what I need them to be.

From: apache

Reply to Address: [email protected]

I need this to be -

From:Storename

Reply to Address: [email protected]

How can this be achieved with sendmail?

SMTP is not likely an option...

Thanks,

Aaron

osCommerce documentation Page 12:

Admin : Configuration

The Configuration section will setup all the basic store configuration.

Click on "Configuration" and a drop down of text links will appear.

Click on one of the drop downs and to the right you will see the listings. To edit any of

these listings click in the space of each listing and when that listing is highlighted, click

on the "edit" button on the right.

My Store

Store Name Name of your store

Store Owner Can be your name or the name of your store. This will show up in the email in the "from"

when the customer receives their purchase email.

E-Mail Address The "from" email address in the customer's purchase email.

E-Mail From Your store general email.

Sometimes it helps more to just read the documentation than trying to find a solution in the forum...

No need to roll your eyes...

Already did the setup and double and triple checked configuration.

The documentation does not seem to cover setting up on a vhost.

sendmail recieves a mail() and the mail data through php, and sends as apache in our case, us not being the hosting domain - but the "hosted" domain..

Thanks for trying,

Aaron M
