i dont know whats wrong with my site... when you click on main page and it takes u to the index page. all the product thumbnails are full size!!!! how can i fix this.

heres my site, and i left an example up there.

the funny thing is; it only does it on the index page.. all the other pages the thumbnails will be fine. i tried looking through my index.php page and my new product php page, but i just cant seem to find it. Im not good with php, so im praying one of you can help me out please!

i fixed the fact that my site disapeard or what ever, but this problem still happens.

maybe someone can help me.

Its like on the Main Page, the thumbnails arent automaticly scaled down, what ever your image size is when you upload it, thats what size it appears on the main page, but when you click on any other pages its perfectly fine!

Not sure if you have the image size hard coded in your index.ph file

In index.php itself you have image width for

SUBCATEGORY_IMAGE_WIDTH, SUBCATEGORY_IMAGE_HEIGHT

Not sure if the same is happening for you

Please keep the backup of the file and in place of

SUBCATEGORY_IMAGE_WIDTH

and

SUBCATEGORY_IMAGE_HEIGHT

give some values like 100 and 80

SUBCATEGORY_IMAGE_WIDTH, SUBCATEGORY_IMAGE_HEIGHT gets their value from the configuration table. I dont know how they changed for you

I dont see the width and height parameters being passed here in tep_image

It means image size is coming by default

Can you try changing the image size?

yah i tried changing the image size... then it works... but then when you try clicking to view larger image... the image is small! and i dont want that, because people have to be able to see detail in some products like hoodys and stuff.

Before you go playing around with code which should work 'out of the box' check in osC admin and make sure that under Configuration --> Images that you have not set 'Calculate Image Size' to false. By default it's set to true.

Also check under Tools --> Server Info that GD Library is installed.

recap.. my site still isnt fixed yet, so could someone please help me!, I dont want to resize my images because then customers wouldnt be able to see the details in some products, like hand bags and hoodies, and some shoes with different designs. So could someone tell me how i can get the thumbnails on the main page scaled down?!?! but still have it so when they "view larger image" it will get bigger.

On the main page of my site, the thumbnails arent scaled down, they are all the full image size.
