bobg7 Posted September 30, 2006 Posted September 30, 2006 I have been using this contribution for over a year without any issues, a while ago it completed but I stopped getting the updated info back from PayPal so i have had to manually change it from Pending to Processing. The customer and I also stopped getting the order conformation emails. At about the sale time this started, my webhost made some changes and I found out that 'Linked Tables' has been disabled so the question is........... Does Pal Shopping Cart IPN use Linked Tables? Thanks in advance. Guest Posted September 30, 2006 Posted September 30, 2006 (edited) I'm having the same problems since my host upgraded to PHP 4.4.4 and MySQL 4.1.21-standard. What happens if you view your ipn.php file through your browser? For me, firefox tries to download it (after a long pause) and Internet Explorer brings up a "Cannot Find Server" error. I believe if it is working, it should just bring up a blank page. It's still better than the default PayPal module (since orders don't go missing) but it's frustrating that customers aren't sent order confirmation until you update to "Processing" and updating large volumes of orders every day can be a bit tedious. I did manage to fix the linked tables error by editing one one file, I can't remember the fix, but if you google part of the error message a link to a forum thread on here should come up. Whether the IPN module uses linked tables independent of this fix, I don't know, but it would be nice if we could get to the bottom of the problem and find a fix. bobg7 Posted September 30, 2006 Author Posted September 30, 2006 My host has upgraded to PHP 4.3.4 and mysql to 4.1.11 When I look at ipn.php in Firefox it's just a blank page, no download. In IE it shows a 500 - Internal server error. I wonder if this is also why the FedEx shipping module also stopped working.
