Product images

Hi,

 

I have spent over 2 hrs looking for this answer in search..but no luck. How do you delete the product images? I would only like to show the words for my products and not the images, under the catagories. I still want to show the images for the products, just not the main catagory images. I find this is too hard to keep the website the same if you have to use many different images for the catagoires and sub catagories.

A quick hack is to make a 1px x 1px transparent gif, after uploading it to the images folder, then go to the admin, then categories and install the image, each category can get the same invisible image
