Can osCommerce do this?

Hi all,

I'm an osCommerce newbie newly won to the wonders of this system!

 

I have a client (reseller) that has websites/stores such that - there is a separate website for each manufacturer's products as well as a main headquarter website for all products from all manufacturers.

 

Currently these are static websites so hard to update and manage. I?m required to implement a dynamic solution that makes it easy to manage these websites. When, let?s suppose, a product?s price is updated on the main headquarter website, it also gets updated on the manufacturer-specific website. Similarly, when a product is added/deleted to/from the main headquarter website, it is also added/deleted to/from the relevant manufacturer specific website. A central database of sorts.

 

Can osCommerce do this? How can I keep a central database of content which spawns multiple stores?
