failed to open stream error

I am experiencing problems in trying to get a vanila set up of osc running on my XAMPP PC. Basically I got through the stage of hving the register globals error, downloaded the register globals path but now get this message

 

Warning: main(includes/classes/logger.php) [function.main]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in C:\xampp\htdocs\catalog\includes\application_top.php on line 76

 

Fatal error: main() [function.require]: Failed opening required 'includes/classes/logger.php' (include_path='.;C:\xampp\php\pear\') in C:\xampp\htdocs\catalog\includes\application_top.php on line 76

 

the file logger does not appear in the includes/classes/ directory ?

 

should it? has my install gone wrong

 

any guidence appreciated

Sorted. Re installed and all know ok - used different register globals patch.
