gcwells Posted September 28, 2006 Posted September 28, 2006 I have my site designed and I want to use osCommerce just as a shopping cart. Will integrating osCommerce to my site change the look of my site?
jasonabc Posted September 28, 2006 Posted September 28, 2006 No - your site and OSC are two separate things. You can integrate your existing design into OSC however to make your shop and your site look the same. Thanks gcwells oscommerce can be a bear of an application to get used to the point where you can freely change up graphics, layout, etc. so you can do things like this: http://www.firstaidmonster.com I would definately suggest getting with either a designer who knows how to implement designs into oscommerce, or an oscommerce programmer who knows how to implement designs into oscommerce. Either way I would definately ask them questions as they get it done so you can learn yourself which files to edit, etc. For example maybe they have the header navigation in the /includes/header.php, OR maybe they have it in another area. Everyone is different. Hopefully this helps. Sincerely, Bruce 19 contributions submitted
