smadadi Posted September 28, 2006 Posted September 28, 2006 We have an OS Commerce site that we would like to be search engine friendly. I have seen other e-commerce sites that do this by having their URLs arranged like this: site.com/catalog/part_category/part_name instead of: site.com/catalog.php?category=1232∂=12322 I have looked into it and I know that we need to use the MOD_REWRITE function in apache to do this, but was unable to figure out exactly how to set it up. Is there a tutorial anywhere to implement this or an addon that does it?
