Leaving .00 in products price(net) in categories.php

Hello all, I just finished building a store for a client of mine and he would like it so when you enter a product's price in the admin section (categories.php), that if you enter, for example, $55.00, when you go to the next field , the .00 stays. Right now if you type in a price with .00, when you go to the next field, the .00 disappears. I've looked in the javascript and I've been messing around with the updateNet() and updateGross() functions, but I don't have enought experience with javascript to figure it out.
