Hi guys,

I'm new to OSC. And, this might be a silly question to you but I just can't figure it out. I've searched this forum and still can't get the answer.

The question: How to list ebooks for sell at OSC?

Could you guys give me a step by step how to? I'm totally confuse here.

I've :

- Uploaded the files (PDFs) to www.path.com/catalog/download/

- Tried to "add new product" at "Catalog | Categories Products". Consufed with the "url" box.

- Tried to put "filename" with filename.pdf (without any path) at "Products | Attributes"

It is listed at the catalog. But when I clicked it, it said "Product not found!" That's even without setting the payment processor :(

Why the "url" and "filename" box do not have any browse button? Should we guess directly the location of file? What should I put there?

Anyway, I'm expecting somebody would be kind enough to guide me step by step to list ebooks for sell with OSC.

Thanks alot.

Hi, i'm new too, and funnilly enough I am doing the same thing right now.

To address each point in turn:

Your files are in the right place.

The 'URL' box is not relevant to what you are doing, ignore it (that is for a link to an outside web page giving more information about a product, such as a manufacturers web site).

I agree that a list box would be nice for the file name but it is not so, so, what I am doing is opening the /catalog/download folder in my FTP program and copy/pasting the file name into the file name box. Works for me :)

I hope this helps.

Cheers

Andy
