Add Items to Cart > Login to Checkout > Cart shows empty

Greetings all.

 

I am setting up a new store and have run into a slight glitch that I can't seem to get around.

Add some items to your cart. Then when you go to check out, either create a new account or login with an existing account. Once you are logged in, you are told "Your shopping cart is empty"

 

Yet if you go to add something else, it will add to the existing cart that you started before logging in. So it's like it's not associating the cart to the logged in session when you go to check out.

 

 

If you log in first before adding anything to your cart, it works fine through the whole process.

 

Please help?
