I'm having the same issue I think. I cannot get the subcategory text/images to display. Using the demo site (http://demo.oscommerce.com/) as an example, if I click on "hardware", no "categories" shows up and neither does "CD ROM Drives, Graphics Cards" etc.... I've looked through index.php and found nothing noticably wrong. also swapped with another index.php and no fix. Is it a different file that generates this or am I just missing something? Any suggestions? thanks
techno550 Posted September 28, 2006 Posted September 28, 2006 I think I have the answer. (someone correct me if I'm wrong please.) For my "problem" it is that oscommerce will not display the subcategory headings if there are any products in the category. (I'll need to fix this, but it is indeed working as it is supposed to...) oscommerce will also only display "new products" on the page unless a category containing products is selected.
