Hmm is this a real customer

Hi everyone,

 

I have a customer Who has come to the store ordered two products but has not paid, however the products have gone through, So I was thinking that he has done the order and gone to checkout_success.php, there is def no money in my paypal account and it's not on sandbox either, what do you guys think my next course of action should be and should I change the name of my checkout_success.php.

It sounds like a fake order. There is a way to fool the checkout process so that it appears an order was placed to you but there isn't any transfer of money. It is a problem in all oscommerce carts. You could contact the customer and explain that there was a problem with Paypal, that they did not receive payment and ask him to place another order. If it is a legitmate customer, you may lose him (you might want to offer some discount or free item). But that is better than if it is not a legitimate one.
