Serious unit price problems

I've added some unit prices to all my products as product attributes. This includes the pricing of the products according to the quantity bought, eg. if 10pcs of a product that costs 2? with a product attribute of 10+/-10% is ordered it would cost 18? (as 10% is reduced from the price).

 

My problem is that the system for some odd reason, using the example above again, reduces the 10% even if only 1pcs of the product is bought. The percentage amount it reduces from the price is obviously according to the product attribute one can choose from the drop-down product attrbute box at each product information page.

 

This is a major problem in my site :'( and it could result in me losing my customers, so if someone could please help me solve this problem I would be extremely greatful. :(

Most people would use a contribution like Quantity Price Breaks Per Product for this scenario. You can't use attributes in this way IMHO.

will this contribution automatically calculate the new price of the products according to the unit price give to them?
