Connecting to Database

I have installed the Option_Type_Feature_1.7.2 Contribution and replaced all the files. I am testing this under the xampp server on my local pc. I am getting this error:

 

1046 - No database selected

select configuration_key as cfgKey, configuration_value as cfgValue from configuration
