Authorize. net timing out

Hi, Frequently when our customers pay by credit card, we get a timing out error message. My coder is trying to fix the problem but has been unsuccessful. Below is his description of what is happening. Can anyone help? Thanks so much, Jan

I tried to contact the person who wrote the

'Authorize.net ADC Direct Connection' but didnt get

any reply yet.So at this point it's better to find

someone who has previously successfully done this.I'll give u a description of our problem.

1)Once a while we are getting Authorize.net

Transaction Error/Timeouts Notifications. And we would

like to add the following mod.

2) The current Authorize.net module is working, But

when you go to Modules -> Payment section in the admin

it doesn't appear as active. You see the install

button, but when you click it it just returns with the

same screen with the install button. But if you click

on the row where the Authorize.net mod is listed, then

you get to the edit screen where you can change trans

keys and user names.

 

I guess the simplest way to explain it is that the

'remove/edit' option screen doesn't appear at all. It

works for the other payment modules though.
