Change Card Months to Numbers

Hi,

 

Does anyone know how to change the list of drop-down card months into numbers (e.g. January | 2006 -> 01 | 2006)?

 

Better still, modify it to read January (01) | 2006?

 

 

I think as all cards use numbers instead of words, this leads to a lot of the mistakes where people enter the wrong month for their expirary date, and so the card declines and time then has to be taken to contact the customer and confirm.
