I have just installed the latest OScommerce and have completed populating the store - I have gone to view it and there is nothing there just a blank white page in the browser - I have replaced the original index.php file with the one form the install (just to test) and still nothing - how can an entire page just decidd to not display?

 

Sorry about the urgent text, this is the first time this has happened, hence the desperation, as well as the client expecting the work finished.

Check your server error logs. They will tell you what and where the error is.

most probably your server is set not to display errors (instead a white page) and you have a missing escape for text in your language file of index.php
