Concurrent Buying Issue

Hi all,

 

When 2 person buy the same thing at the same time, will there be a issue with the stock level check?

For example,

Product A is left with 1 in the inventory.

When 2 person decide to buy product A and at the same time through the payment gateway, the stock check might not be able to capture the stock change if both happen to be at the payment gateway site. When one finish payment, inventory will be 0. And when the 2nd finish payment, the inventory will be -1 now.

Is there anyone who have consider this issue?

Is there any suggestion on how to solve this issue?
