defining which images are used where

Hi,

 

I'm struggling with getting images to show up as I would like.

 

Is there a simple way to change what size images (small, heading and subcategory) are used where. These 3 sizes would be sufficient if I could alter which ones show up in set places.

 

I need the main category page images to be subcat

I need the main product page images to be subcat

I need the secondary product page images to be subcat

I need the order page images to be subcat

 

All the images in the boxes like whats new need to be small images and so do the new products images which appear on the main products page.

 

The pop-up images going to the actual size of the original image is perfect....in fact can't all images be made to do this. This would solve all my problems.
