How To Reset New Products And Viewed Products?

Hi wonder if someone could help me I want to reset my New Products , If someone was to look at new products they would find a list of products dating back to the first product I put on my site, Is there a way of resetting it or periodically resetting it.

 

I would only like monthly new products in there.

 

Also is there a way of resetting viewed products as that also dates back to day dot :rolleyes:
