Renaissancedavid Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 :( I hope someone takes the time to help a nOOb... I've set up most everything, but I don't know how to set up where the money goes when a costumer buys something. I believe I've looked through all the options on the osCommerce administration module, but I still cannot find a place to input my bank account info. Plz help a poor, poor nOOb.... lol.

Why would a customer need your bank info?
Leibtek Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 oScommerce does not provide any merchant services, you would either use your own, or Paypal.
Andrew Yuen Posted September 25, 2006 Posted September 25, 2006 osCommerce provides support to various gateways. Please check this page for more info: http://www.oscommerce.com/about/gateways Andrew Yuen osCommerce, Community Team
jasonabc Posted September 26, 2006 Posted September 26, 2006 You can set up a PayPal merchant account simply/quickly and then install the PayPal IPN module for OSC. Customers are taken off to PayPal when they check out and the funds see their way into your account that way. Or you can ask your bank to set you up with an online merchant account and then use a payment gateway like Authorize.net to process credit cards in real time and drop the funds into your account a few business days later. There are also Cash On Delivery and Check/Money Order options in OSC's Payment Modules section.
