Using search for other pages ?

Recommended Posts

Not sure if i have asked this before and im really sorry if i have  , i have many customers that use the search box on my site for other things other than just the products i sell, eg names, advice pages and so on but leave when the search comes up empty even if i do have what they want just not where they are looking for it, can i include all pages from my site to the search other than products ? i guess this would be a nightmare but could be well worth it in the long run and i have seen a few sites like mine that have this working for them, but they do not use osC i think.

if you use article and/or news manager contribs for all your content pages instead of language files, those can be added to search ... it takes a bit of shifting and sifting, so not a fast task, but may be worth it for you

It reads the ones that would display text in the shop. Mostly all of the files in the english directory.
